Mr. Dale "Allen" Vaughn, 55 of Pleasant Ridge Road, Bremen passed away suddenly March 31, 2006. He was born on March 24, 1951 in Haralson County the son of Ruby Evans Vaughn and the late James F. Vaughn, Sr. He worked for Home Depot for 15 + years in the Electrical and Paint Departments; and as a Part-Time Clerk for the Texaco on Highway 27 in Carrollton for 14+ years. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Carrollton. Survivors include his wife, Janice Ploof Vaughn of Bremen; mother, Ruby Vaughn of Carrollton; children and their spouses, Tim & Valerie Vaughn of Buchanan, Patrick & Rachel Vaughn of Dallas and Kristy & Wayne Bowen of Carrollton; sisters, Linda Pyle and Debbie Cole both of Carrollton; brothers, Billy Vaughn of Riverdale, Jimmy Vaughn, Jerry Vaughn and Steve Vaughn all of Carrollton, and Gary Vaughn of Bremen; four grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, April 3, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Antioch Baptist Church in Carrollton with Reverend Tony McManus and Reverend Robbie Lankford officiating. Music will be coordinated by Jess and Gayle Lane and Bart Cater. Mr. Vaughn will be placed in state at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Jeff Vaughn, Mark Vaughn, Ricky Bowen, Mike Lankford, Tony Grizzard and Richard Cruise serving as Pallbearers. The "Senior Men" Adult Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Hightower Funeral Home in Bremen on Sunday, April 2, 2006 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
