Anita Juanette Wright Haney of Tallapoosa passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in a local hospital. She was born in Carrollton, May 19, 1954, daughter of Marvie Mohe Suits Wright and the late Billie Ray Wright. Anita was a member of Emmanuel Church and was employed by Bremen Daycare for thirty years. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Keith James Wright. Survivors include her husband, Luther Laney Dale Haney of Tallapoosa; three children, Alan and Kim Haney, Bremen, Crystal Haney of Tallapoosa, Jessica and Kevin Griggs of Tallapoosa; her mother, Marvie Wright of Tallapoosa; grandchildren; Pressley Haney, Tyler Bell, Kholton Sheets, Jaide Bell, Kaycee Griggs and Juleigh Green; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Waggoner of Bremen, Violet Lovvorn of Mount Zion and two brothers, Cecil Wright and Dennis Wright, both of Tallapoosa. Services will be Friday, October 12 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Chester Pesnell and Reverend Wayne Reddish officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Drew Johnson, Josh Biddy, Kenneth Wright, Jacob Peyton, Stacy Lovvorn and Austin Lovvorn. Interment will follow in Kansas Baptist Church cemetery.
