Anthony Scott Flournoy, age 51 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020. He was born August 20, 1968 in Carrollton, Georgia. He was employed with the Douglas County Board of Education and was a member of Old Camp UMC. Scott was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was loved by all who knew him. He was always there to lend a helping hand and loved to play any kind of ball especially softball. He never met a stranger, and ended his conversation with family and friends with "I Love You". Well, we love you, too, and will miss you every day. Until we meet again. Scott was preceded in death by grandparents: Warner Calvin Flournoy, Walter & Margaret Lovejoy, and Howard & Bertha Williams. He was also preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. Survivors include his wife, Wendy LuAllen Flournoy and sons, Joshua and Caleb; father and step-mother, Tony & Bea Flournoy; mother and step-father, Mary & Gerald Robinson; sister and brother-in-law, Angela & Shannon Payne of Anniston, Alabama; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM from Old Camp UMC with Rev. Ronny Brannen and Rev. Barry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Ken Teague, Shane Norton, Carylon Darnell, Barry Taylor, Rick McGinnis, Tim Denny and Dane Smith.
