Clarence Julian Hood, Jr., age, 85, of Douglasville, passed away, Monday, October 26, 2009. He was born in Fulton County, January 5, 1924 to the late Clarence Julian Hood, Sr. and Sara Sutton Bradbury Hood. He was a US Navy Veteran during WWII and was self employed in the automotive field as a manufacturing representative. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Mitchell. Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law; Dwight A. and Edith Hood of Douglasville; brother-in-law: Herbert Mitchell of Douglasville; granddaughter and spouse: Tish and Rusty Hart of Douglasville; grandson and spouse: Bryan and Shannon Hood of Kennesaw; great grandchildren: Christian Hood, Bailey Hart, Reece Hart and Zach Harper; niece: Gail Mitchell Brooks and nephew, Gary Mitchell. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 1:00pm from The Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Drive, S.W., Atlanta, GA with Minister, Ron Bradshaw officiating.
