Daniel Thomas Green, age 25, of Whooping Creek Rd, Carrollton, GA., passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2006. He was born in Carroll County, Ga., to Jan Smith Green and David Green. Daniel completed school at Central High and his hobbies included his love of cooking as well as his strong love for animals. He was a member of Glenloch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Monroe Smith. Survivors include his parents, David and Jan Green; a brother and sister in-law, Derrick and Amanda Green of Franklin; his paternal grandparents, Grover and Shirley Green of Carrollton; his maternal grandmother, Ellen Smith of Franklin; a niece, Macie Green; also a number of aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 9, 2006 at 5 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Neil Awbrey and Mr. Terry Harper officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday June 9, from 3 PM until the funeral hour. In accordance with the families wishes the body will be cremated.
