David Eugene Turner of Tallapoosa, passed away on November 17, 2019 at a health care facility. He was born May 15, 1958, son of the late Clarence Clifton Turner and Mary Reifers Turner. In addition to his parents, Mr. Turner is preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Clifton Turner, Jr. Survivors include wife, Brenda House Tuner, a son, Clarence Clifton Turner III, Colorado and daughters, Brandy Turner and Rae Lynn Turner, both of California, step children, Jerri Lynn and William Haney, Tallapoosa, Chris and Christy Alexander, Carrollton, Scott and Christy Finley, Tallapoosa and Lee Finley of Tallapoosa, a sister, Patricia Fairclo, Bend, Oregon, and brother, Clyde and Fe Turner, Marysville, Washington, fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 – 2:00 PM. Services will be Monday, November 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Chaplain Luke Pollock officiating. Scott Finley, Lee Finley, Dillon Finley, William Haney, Tyler Williams, Jacob Williams, Eli Harris and Jerry Williams will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion West Cemetery.
