David Jack McCarty, age 57 of Winston, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019.  He was born on March 9, 1962 in Carrollton, Georgia, the son of the late Rudolph Jack McCarty and the late Ann Hardy McCarty. He was an Automotive Refinishing Technician and a Christian by faith. He is survived by his wife, Bambi Lynne Welker McCarty; sons and daughters-in-law: Daniel and Mindy McCarty, Jamie and Emily Somerson, and Jordan and Ashley Somerson; daughter: Kimber Lee Jannotte; grandchildren: Daniel McCarty, Jr., Mason McCarty, Matthew McCarty, Dawson McCarty, Josiah Diaz, Caitlyn Reed, Jessica Somerson, Ian Jinks, Acelee James Allen, Lillee Rose Allen; sister and brother-in-law: Judy and Joe Derrick; brothers and sisters-in-law: Tony and Stacy McCarty, Rudolph, Jr. and Lorrie McCarty, and Randy McCarty.In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter: Jessica Somerson; and sisters: Nadine Jones and Patty Hyder. Per his wishes, his body was cremated. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in Hightower's Chapel.
