Denny "Leon" Allen, Sr., age 77, of Douglasville passed away Saturday, April 18, 2020.  He was born on August 26, 1942 in Isaban, West Virginia to the late Lewis Allen and the late Carrie White. Leon was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked in HVAC control for McKenneys Incorporated and was a member of Local Pipefitter Union #72. He was a member of Ephesus Christian Church in Whitesburg, Georgia. Leon loved to hunt, fish and take his grandchildren camping. He was a fan of college football and western movies. Leon loved people. He is survived by his wife, Louise Davidson Allen; children, Dawn Gay and husband Stan, Danette Camp and husband Barry, Denny Leon Allen, II, Mike Mallory and wife Gina, Dean Mallory and wife Stacey; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Leon was also preceded in death by his brother, Bougle Dingus; sister, Eloise Fuller and sister, Elberta Atkins. Leon was cremated and due to local and state advisory orders regarding the COVID-19 Virus, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
