Moses Edward Shadrix of Bremen passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 in a local hospital. He was born in Carroll County, December 4, 1939, son of Mattie Ellen Peek Shadrix and the late H. M. Shadrix. Mr. Shadrix was a retired employee of the U.S. Can Company and a member of the Waco Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Linda Spake Shadrix of Bremen; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Joy Shadrix of Shreveport, LA, Craig and Heather Shadrix of Lake Mary, FL; mother, Mattie Ellen Shadrix of Carrollton; five grandchildren, Jake Shadrix, Preston Shadrix, Carson Shadrix, Cade Shadrix and Hunter Shadrix; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Bobby Holcombe, Carrollton; two brothers and sisters, Kenneth and JoAnn Shadrix and Gary and Gail Shadrix of Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Services will be Tuesday, November 25 at 11:00 AM from Bremen Church of Christ with Minister Jeff Clark officiating. Spencer Broome is in charge of the music. Jake Shadrix, Hunter Shadrix, Preston Shadrix, Cade Shadrix, Tommy Spake and Jeremy Spake will serve as pallbearers. The following gentlemen will serve as honorary pallbearers, Carson Shadrix, Keith Carroll, Tracy Gordon and Eddie Bonner. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
