Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" M. Cosper, 69 of Elizabeth Drive, Tallapoosa passed away August 10, 2008. Mrs. Cosper was born on September 12, 1938 in Haralson County, Georgia the daughter of the late Levern S. Murphy and Ota Mae Bates Murphy. A member of Bowdon Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, George Cosper of Tallapoosa; children, Caron & Phillip Crook of Buchanan, July Cosper and fiance' Blake Nicholas of Tallapoosa, and Scott & Karen Cosper of Wedowee, AL; sisters and brothers in law, Helen & Robert Lee of Mableton and Linda & Frank Widincamp of Shellman Bluff; brother and sister in law, Hal & Kay Murphy of Lithia Springs and brother, Andrew Murphy of Kennesaw; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 2 PM from Kansas Baptist Church with Reverend Charles Munroe officiating. Music will be provided by Patsy Bentley. David Wilson, David Carpio, Drew Norton, Robert Williams, Matt Widincamp, Steve Widincamp, Keith Pettway and Eric Murphy will serve as pallbearers. Erin Norton, Whitney Norton, Courtney Cosper, Lindsay Cosper and Ava Grayce Norton will serve as honorary pallbearers. Interment will follow in Kansas Church Cemetery.
