Florie Schell Norton, age 95, of Bremen passed away February 1, 2020. She was born in Mt. Zion in Carroll County Georgia on March 27, 1924 to the late Joseph Henry Parker Schell and the late Annie Arbella Sharp Schell. Florie was retired from Sewell Manufacturing Company with more than 40 years of service and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bremen. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Ann Stiers and husband Chuck, Tewanna Lee Grizzard and husband Doug; grandchildren, Christopher & Janice Stiers, T.J. Stiers & Susan Hill, Carrie Stiers & Bonifacio Gutierrez, Jennifer & Jason Yates , Zachery & Bekah Grizzard; 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Claude Norton; and son Craig Norton. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 3, 2020, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Hightower Funeral Home in Bremen. A funeral service will be held in the chapel at the funeral home on Monday at 1:00 PM following the visitation with Brother Herman Parker officiating. Zach Grizzard, Jason Yates, Doug Grizzard, Bonifacio Gutierrez, Bob Hurst, Chuck Stiers will be serving as Pall Bearers. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bremen.
