Floye Robinson Hulsey of Pecan Street, Bremen, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Cleburne County, Alabama, July 23, 1928, daughter of the late George Mirum Robinson and Rosie Howard Robinson. Mrs. Hulsey was a retired employee of the Sewell Manufacturing Company and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a infant sister, Bertie Lois Robinson and in 1979, a brother, Lowell Robinson. Survivors include husband, Curtis Hulsey, Bremen; children, Troy and Janie Hulsey of Rome, Teresa and Lawrence Jiles of Temple; sisters and their spouses, Jeanette and Noel Little, Clohie and Preston Smith and Hazel and T. J. Bell, all of Bremen; brothers and their spouses, Bobby and Elaine Robinson of Villa Rica, Wayne and Jackie Robinson, Junior and Billie Robinson, both of Bremen; sister in law, Catherine Robinson of Bremen; three grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, June 28 at 11:00 AM from Bethel Baptist Church with Reverends Allen Wilburn, Keith Robinson, Van Brown, Keith Moore, Joey Martin and Brother Johnny Carden officiating. Music will be furnished the Community Singers, directed by Duane McBrayer and accompanied by Martha McBrayer and Eddie Hulsey. Robbie Robinson, Rodney Robinson, Mark Robinson, Eric Robinson, Alan Bell, George Bell, Mike Little, Mitchell Robinson and Ray Sewell, Jr. will serve as pallbearers. Rev. Steve Stanley is in charge of the graveside services at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
