Frances Patricia Watkins Dix, age 81 of Douglasville, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend.  She was a member of Central Baptist Church and touched the lives of so many through her Christian witness and teaching. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Duard Watkins and Alma Williams Wood, and her husband of 41 years, Williams Earl Dix, Sr.  She is survived by her children: Butch and Tina Dix, Pamela and Mark Black, and Ann Marie and Henry Shipp; grandchildren: Jessica and Phillip DeBorde, Jordan and Jacob Thigpen and Alex Dix; great-grandchildren: Aiden and Aubree Thigpen; sister: Kay (Dan) Douma; nephews: Scott (Kathy) Brown, Randy (Angee) Dix, Kevin (Mariela) Tarner and Kris (Amy) Dix; nieces: Laurie Rodriguez and Robin (Darryl) Jenkins; one fur-kid, Oreo;  and many other friends and relatives.  Due to the COVID 19-Coronavirus Pandemic, a Celebration of Life/Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
