Mr. Fred Julian Payton, age 79 of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021. He was born February 13, 1942 in Heard County, Georgia, the son of the late Lonzo Amos Payton and the late Thelma Robinson Payton. He formerly worked as a Server with Ryan's Steak House, and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, but was presently attending Eureka Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Michelle Payton; and brothers: Adrian Payton, and Don Edward Payton. He is survived by his daughter, Dianne Lee Payton of Carrollton, Georgia; sister, Juanita Cox Owen of Mt. Zion, Georgia, and nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes, the body will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
