Mr. Gerald Steve Green, age 57, of Sandhill Shady Grove Rd., Carrollton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008. He was born January 18, 1951 in Carroll County, Georgia to JoAnn Wilkins Akins and the late Burner Lee Green. Mr. Green was recently employed at Auto Color/Finish Masters and was owner and operator of Greens Body Shop and also a Baptist by faith. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jean Driver Green; mother, JoAnn Akins both of Carrollton; his daughter and son in law, April & Jimmy White and their children, Kyle Bailey and Jackson White all of Carrollton; daughter, Stephanie Winkles and her children, Bradley, Tabetha, Lynn and Rachel Winkles; half sister, Michelle Cambrone of Temple; also two brother in laws and a sister in law, Jerry Driver and Allen & Betty Sue Driver all of Carrollton. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 1 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. J.W. Daniel and Rev. John Puckett officiating. Pallbearers will be Jimmy McKenzie, Greg Holcombe, Danny West, Scott Ragsdale, Walter Driver, Kenneth Yates, Ronnie Edwards and Keith Gosdin. Entombment will follow in West Georgia Memorial Park Mausoleum.
