Gregory "Greg" Keith Pierce, age 68, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. He was born on July 16, 1949 in Cushing, Oklahoma, son of the late Norton Pierce and Georgia Malernee Pierce. Greg served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He was a retired inspector with the Georgia Department of Transportation. He is survived by his ex-wife and companion, Carolyn Pierce; brother; Robert Pierce and his wife, Diane; three nieces, Maggie, Susan and Gina. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Pierce. Per his wishes, he was cremated, and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 30, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Reverend Brett DeHart officiating. Hightower's Memorial Chapel, Douglasville, has charge of the arrangements.
