Hoyt D. Jackson of Bremen, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 following a brief illness. He was born in Haralson County, March 17, 1927, son of the late Robert Lee Jackson and Katie Deering Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a retired employee of the Hubbard Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Floy Tuggle Jackson; a son, Roger Jackson; brothers, Hubert Jackson and Robert Junior Jackson and sisters, Pauline Jackson and Lillian Jackson Sanders. Survivors include children, Cynthia and Sam Hughes of Bayou LaBatre, AL, Cathy Holloway of Temple, Randy and Teresa Jackson of Tallapoosa; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Dermo officiating. Phillip Jackson, Toby Jackson, Shannon Jackson, Timothy Jackson, Richard Holloway and Chris Holloway will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
