Jack Trammell, age 79 of Douglasville, passed away, Friday, December 21, 2012. He was born January 18, 1933 in Lumpkin, GA to the late William Jeffie Trammell and Bessie Estelle Parks Trammell. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force and worked as a salesman for Better Brands Company for over 20 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Trammell; sister, Elene Odum and nephew, B. J. Trammell. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Coleman Trammell; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and April Trammell; sister, Susie Miller; brothers and sisters-in-law; E.F. and Jean Trammell, Jerry and Mary Lou Trammell; brother, Jimmy Trammell and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Chaplain Reverend Jared Neal officiating. Interment will follow the service in Bright Star Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
