James "Jim" Wayne Monroe, II of Bremen passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from injuries sustained in a swimming accident. He was born in Athens, Georgia, February 15, 1974, son of Wayne Monroe and Miriam Joyce Graham Hadden. Mr. Monroe was a carpenter by trade. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Wayne and Nancy Monroe of Bremen; mother and step-father, Miriam and Julius Hadden of Aiken, SC; daughter, Savannah Monroe of SC; sister, April Monroe of Carrollton; step-sister, Laura and Syed Sultan, Lithonia and step-brother,. Scott and Laura Martin of Woodstock. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the church from 10 until 11 AM. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, August 5 at 11:00 AM from the First United Methodist Church of Bremen with Reverend Dr. Gerald Varner and Reverend Don Martin officiating. Music will be furnished by Lynn Hodges and Troy Walburn. Inurnment will follow in Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Conway, South Carolina.
