James Robert Fleischman, age 61, of Roopville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday after, August 27, 2016 at his residence. He was born November 1, 1954 in Gary, Indiana, the son of the late James Fleischman and the late Mary Malone Rumsey. He was formerly employed as a foreman with Infrasource Gas Company. Survivors include his wife, Marie Williamson Fleischman of Roopville, Georgia; and two daughters: Kasie Fleischman and Tiffany Fleischman, both of Roopville, Georgia. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Tony Morris and Rev. Ralph Caldwell officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be Mark Jeffers, Larry Williamson, Ken Kunkle, Billy Yearwood, Phillip Willingham, Tracey Rainwater, and Danny Allen. Interment will follow in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery in Heard County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
