Jeanette New Carroll, age 78 of Carrollton, passed away Saturday, August 06, 2016 at her residence. She was born July 06, 1938 in Villa Rica, Georgia to the late Thomas Wesley New and Janie Lee Almand New. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Louie D. Carroll; son, Samuel Wesley Carroll; and a number of brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Doris Bearden of Roopville; grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Charles, Mathew Stephen Dunbar, Jonathan "Michael" Dunbar, David Wesley Carroll, Joshua Randall Eugene Carroll, and Cody Carroll; and a host of great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, August 09, 2016 at 2:00 PM from Roopville Community Church with Rev. Harvey Fuller and Bro. Kenneth Brown. Interment will follow in Tyus Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Dunbar, Mathew Dunbar, Clarence McRae, Robert Polley, Dakota Rehberg, and Terry Black. The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel on Monday, August 08, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
