Jerald Wayne "Jere" Webb, age 77, of Villa Rica, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018.  He was born on March 22, 1941 in Atlanta, Georgia, son of the late Bernon Patrick Webb and the late Mary Blanche Roland Webb.  He attended Georgia Tech, Southern Tech and Atlanta Art Insitute and held a B.A. in Architectural Design.  He worked for the Georgia Department of Transportation for 30 years as an Architect.  He was a Veteran of the United States Army and attended the First United Methodist Church in Douglasville. Jere was an artist and also enjoyed writing poetry, fishing and camping.  He played basketball in high school and college. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Ledford and husband, Joe, of Winston; grandchildren, Lauren Foster and husband Adam, Ali Brooks, and Noelle Ledford; brother, Charles Webb of Lithia Springs; and the mother of his daughter, Lydia Webb. The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.  The Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dexter Landers officiating.
