Jerry Ray Rice of Bremen passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Carroll County, November 10, 1950,son of the late Johnnie L. Rice and Marie Christine Cook Lanham. Mr. Rice was an employee of Wayne Rollins Auto Repair. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Mark Tucker. Survivors include his children, Jeffery Ray Rice of Bremen, Jason Rice and Melody Lord (fiance') of Mt. Zion, Dustin Rayburn of Roopville, Karen and Terry Stephens, Mt. Zion; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren; sisters, Debbie and Don Clay,Temple, Vickie and Jerry Shepherd of Ranburne, AL and a brother, Terry and Shelby Rice of Bremen. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 12 noon until 2:00 PM. Services will be Monday, May 18 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Cecil Cook and Reverend Steve Jones officiating.
