Mr. John "Frank" Lewis, 81 of Shedd Road, Bremen passed away August 18, 2007 in Tanner Medical Center. Mr. Lewis was born on September 11, 1925 in Haralson County, Georgia the son of the late Lomie Lewis and Mattie Swann Harrison. Formerly employed as a truck driver and in the construction field. He was a Veteran of The United States Marines having served in WWII. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Posey Lewis; a sister Annie Lewis and a brother, James Lewis. Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Gail & Kenneth Willis of Carrollton; a brother, Hugh Lewis of Wedowee, AL and two grandchildren, Todd Willis of Smyrna and Jason & Stephanie Willis of Louisville, KY. Funeral Services were conducted Monday, August 20, 2007 at 11 AM from The Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home in Bremen officiated by Reverend Buddy Gentry. Music was provided by Maxine House. Wayne Posey, Max Alexander and Jason Willis served as pallbearers. Interment followed in Union Hill Church Cemetery.
