Joseph Lehman Thames, Jr., age 80, of Waco, GA, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018.  He was born on October 3, 1937 in Norfolk, VA, son of the late Joseph Lehman Thames, Sr., and the late Sarah Cecelia Alexander Thames.  Joe was a retired truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Rhodie Mae "Mickey" Nolen Thames; sisters-in laws, brothers-in-laws, neices and nephews. Per his family's wishes, he was cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Providence Baptist Church in Roopville, Ga with Rev. Wayne Webb officiating.
