Junior Roy 'Red' Robinson of Waco, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in a local hospital. He was born in Carroll County, July 24, 1930, son of the late John Robinson and Jennie Eason Robinson. Mr. Robinson was a member of the Kansas Baptist Church and a retired employee of Printed Fabrics. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jim Downs Robinson; a son, Ricky Robinson; brothers, Jerral Robinson, Hugh Robinson, Jack Robinson and George Robinson. Survivors include sons and their spouses, Scott and Chris Robinson, Waco, Marty and Wendy Robinson, Bowdon, Mack Robinson of Waco; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Robinson, Waco; a sister, Jimmie Lou Brown of Waco; a brother and his spouse, Curt and Kate Robinson; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mr. Robinson will lie in state at the church from 2:00 until 3:00 PM. Services will be Thursday, September 6 at 3:00 PM from the Kansas Baptist Church with Reverend Charles Munroe and Reverend Chester Pesnell officiating. Bill Moon, Larry Brown, Kevin Skinner, Allen Robinson, Jerry Albright, Barry Brown, Tony Albright and Jeff Henderson will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Kansas Church Cemetery.
