Katherine "Kitty" McKee Carter Head, age 75, of Douglasville, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017. She was born October 29, 1941 in Frankfort, Kentucky, daughter of the late Sidney Carter and the late Nell Smither Carter. She was a homemaker. Kitty was a member of Beulah Baptist Church where she was an active member of the Courage to Change Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Parker Head. Kitty is survived by her sister, Prudence Fuller and husband Ty; nieces, Georgie Moss and husband Dan, Liza Warmus and husband Aaron; great-niece, Brinley Moss and great-nephews, Sander Moss, Keller Moss, Rylan Warmus and Jayce Warmus. Per her family's request, she was cremated, and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Overton officiating.. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the church.
