Kenneth James Gillespie, age 77, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on October 20, 2024. He was born in Manhattan, New York on November 2, 1946, son of the late James Steven Gillespie and the late Mary Clune Gillespie. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a technician lead- inspector for Eastern Airlines where he was employed for over 35 years

He is survived by his wife: Martha Ann Crankshaw Gillespie; son: Michael James Gillespie; grandson: Keith Mitchel Gillespie (Robyn); brother: Jimmy Gillespie (Stacie); sister: Patricia Snoha (Steven).

The family will receive friends at Hightower's Memorial Chapel on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

The memorial service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Ron Bass officiating. Inurnment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
