Linda Burnett Whitley, 56 of Woodland Drive, Orange Park, Florida passed away August 20, 2006. Linda was born on March 20, 1950 in Chattanooga Tennessee the daughter of the late Sanford Roscoe Richey and Anita Virginia Standlin Richey. Former employee of U.S. Government with Department of Veteran's Affairs and a Member of Griffin First Assembly. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husband, Dale Burnett. Survivors include three children, Randy & Cara Crumpler of McLean, VA, John Crumpler of Brandon, FL and Ashley Burnett of Waco, GA; sister and brother in law, Cathy & Richard Nelson of Waco; aunt and uncle Anna & Norman Phaneuf of Orange Park, FL, Aunt Lorraine Standlin of Tulsa, OK and one grandson, Owen Crumpler. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 24, 2006 between the hours of 8:30 am and 10 am. Graveside Services will be conducted Thursday, August 24, 2006 at 11 AM from Whitesburg City Cemetery with Bishop Evett Guyton officiating. Kelland Calhoun, David Wright, Steve Sims, Jason Guyton, Jeff Maxwell and Mitch Chambers will serve as pallbearers.
