Mrs. Lois Evelyn Price Marks, age 85,of Castlegate Circle, Carrollton, Ga., passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010. She was born September 20, 1924 in Bowdon, Georgia the daughter of the late Lucious Price and Mattie Lou Holloway Price. Mrs. Marks was a retired hostess and a member of Bethany Christian Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Loomes Luther Marks and a brother, Herschel Price. Survivors include her son, Billy Alford of Carrollton and a adopted daughter, Nancy Martin of Jacksonville, AL.; sister, Geraldine Dorriety of Carrollton; brother, Ellis Price of Wedowee, AL.; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 3 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Michael L. White officiating. Pallbearers will be Ron Grance, Donnie Grance, Jimmy Price, Larry Price, Joe Williamson, Mike White and Alfrado Vazquez. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.
