Mable Esther Tolbert Robinson of Carrollton passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016. She was born in Gadsden, AL, May 24, 1937, daughter of the late Fred Tolbert and Hannah Inman Mashburn . Mrs. Robinson was a retired employee of the Sewell Manufacturing Company. She enjoyed cooking, but most of all she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in the year 2000, Hugh Wilson Robinson; a son, Keith 'Rodie' Robinson; a sister, Phyllis Cummings and two half-brothers, Fred Tolbert and 'Cup' Tolbert. Survivors include her children; Denise and Freddie Faulkner of Carrollton, Chris and Kim Robinson of Jake, Kimberly and Mitch Golden of Bremen, Nancy and Boyce King of Waco, Ronald and Patricia Robinson of Bremen; grandchildren, Tony Faulkner, Bree Crafton, Brooke Tuggle, Haley Robinson, Dillan Walton, Kate Robinson, Luke Robinson; great grandchildren, Will Roth, Meri Grace Roth, Charlie Crafton, Justin Faulkner, Jordan Faulkner, Leslie Tuggle and two sisters, Peggy Stallings of Griffin and Jackie and Wayne Robinson of Bremen. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Services will be Sunday, September 11 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Anthony Puckett officiating. Speakers will be Danny Robinson and Mitchell Robinson. Music will be furnished by Bonnie Sanders and Chris Keaton. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Tony Faulkner, Mitchell Robinson, Luke Robinson, Will Roth, Charlie Crafton, Charles Crafton and Dillan Walton. Interment will follow in Five Points Baptist Church Cemetery in Jake.
