Mrs. Maria Svoboda Pruner age 89, of Kramer Street, Carrollton, passed away Monday, February 22, 2010. She was born in Czechoslovakia on August 16, 1920 to the late Josef Svoboda and Marie Hasal Svoboda. Mrs. Pruner was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Zdenek Rudolf Pruner, son Patrick Pruner and a brother Joe Svoboda. . Survivors include her son and daughter in law Martin and Sara Pruner of Atlanta, daughter in law Melody Pruner of Temple, sister Libuska Pecalkova of Roznov pod Radhostem, Czech Republic, also surviving are five grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 6:00 until 9:00PM at the funeral home.
