Marie Davis Duvall, age 87 of Douglasville, passed away, October 7, 2011. She was born September 18, 1924 in Rome, GA to the late Homer D. Davis and Bertie Willis Davis. She worked as a power machine seamstress making draperies, curtains, etc.. She was a member of the Tabernacle of Faith Church in Douglasville. In addition to her parents,she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Jessie Duvall; daughter: Janie Duvall, sons: Johnny Duvall and Ricky Rigsby Duvall and son-in-law: Willie Bob Jenkins. Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law: Robert and Fronie Duvall of Panama City Beach, FL; daughters: Geneva Duvall Jenkins and Linda Duvall, both of Douglasville; grandchildren; Sandra, Julie, Teresa, Robie, Danny, Kevin, Jane, Dayna Marie, Renee, Joanna, Marie, Jessica, Jesse James, Terry Marie and Jennifer; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Pastors, Jerris Flowers, Bart Turner and David Gresham officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park with Bryce Cunningham, Brant Cunningham, Robie Duvall and Lee Cunningham serving as Pallbearers. The family will receive friends, Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm; Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
