Mrs. Marion Alice Howard, age 83, of Carrollton Manor, Carrollton,Ga., passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008. She was born September 4, 1924 in Queens County, New York, the daughter of the late Bridgette McMannus Mahoney and William Mahoney. Mrs. Howard was a retired claims processor having worked for MetLife and Phoenix Mutual Insurance Companies and she was also a Catholic by faith. Survivors include her husband, Laurence Earl Howard; her children and their spouses, Bridgette & Jim Kaczenski of Bowdon, Laurence John Howard of Eddy, Texas, William J. Howard of Hawaii and Maureen Beckett of Mentone, AL.; also three grandchildren, Matthew Kaczenski , Lynn Kaczenski both of Atlanta and Nathaniel Beckett of Colorado. Visitation will be held Monday, July 14, 2008 at Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel from 6 until 8 PM. In accordance with the families wishes the body was cremated.
