Marsha Ann Gable Morgan of Buchanan passed away Sunday, September 15, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Tallapoosa, July 10, 1945, daughter of Vivian Allen Gable Smith and the late Elmer Gable. She was retired from Buchanan Elementary where she was employed as the school secretary. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two great grandsons, Britt King and Parker King and two brothers, Donald Gable and Johnny Gable. Survivors include her husband, Marvin Morgan of Buchanan; children, Kim and Alan Jennings , Kelly and Johnny Wright and Jodi and Jeff Brooks, all of Tallapoosa; her mother, Vivian Allen Gable Smith; grandchildren, Kristen and Tracy King of Waco, Vic and Rachel Calhoun of Rockmart, Taylor Jennings, Auburn, AL, Whitney and Myles Matthews of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Madison Brooks and Morgan Brooks of Dahlonega and Hope Brooks of Tallapoosa; four great grandchildren and two brothers, Vaughn (Nancy) Gable of Bremen, Tab (Sue) Gable of Lafayette and a step-sister, Pam Smith of Buchanan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Services will be Wednesday, September 18 at 11:00 AM from the Steadman Baptist Church with Dr. Mason Bush officiating. Music will be furnished by Harold McWhorter and June Walker. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jeff Brooks, Tracy King, Brody King, Vic Calhoun, Ron Gable and Roone Gable. Interment will follow in Steadman Baptist Church Cemetery.
