Marvin Richard Fiedler, age 69 of Douglasville, passed away, Friday, September 16, 2011. He was born December 30, 1941 in Champagne, Illinois to Catherine Lucille Reifsteck Fiedler and the late Earl Richard Fiedler. He worked during his career as a funeral director and Catholic by faith. Survivors are his wife, Carol Ann Davis Fiedler of Douglasville; daughters and sons-in-law: Melanie and Scott Litke of Gurnee, Ill, Kathleen and Marvin Dorgan, Douglasville, Sister: Marcella "Corky" Burdette of Rantoul, Ill; brother and sister-in-law: James and Norma Fiedler of Rantoul, Ill, five grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 19, 2011 at 10:30 am from the St. Malachy Catholic Church, Rantoul, Illinois with Father Steven Bird, Pastor, officiating. The family will receive friends, Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 6-8pm from the Calvart-Belangee Funeral Home, Farmer City, Illinois 61842 with the Rosary at 5:30 pm.
