Mrs. Mary Estavanko Shadrix of Hilltop Drive, Bremen, passed away suddenly at her residence, Wednesday, December 9, 2009. She was born in Haralson County, May 31, 1919, daughter of the late Adam Estavanko and Mary Timan Estavanko. Mrs. Shadrix was a retired employee of the Arrow Company. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Selma J. 'Pete' Shadrix. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Violet Shadrix of Draketown and two grandchildren. Services will be Friday, December 11 at 2:30 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Deacon Gary Atkinson officiating. Shane Shadrix, Shane Dryden, Larry Estavanko, Larry Brooks, Terry Shadrix, Gary Shadrix and Brian Bussey will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
