Mildred "Imogene" Grogan Dodgen, age 75, of Golden Estates, Douglasville, GA, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2007 at her residence. She was born November 1, 1931 in Fulton County, Georgia to the late Burtz Grogan and Iva Arlene Hightower Grogan. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, watching movies and blue grass music. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Gleason. Survivors include her children, Jack Harold "Hal" Dodgen of Douglasville, GA and Molly & Doug Timbs of Walton, West Virginia; a sister, Jeanelle Massey of Douglasville, GA; 11 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 2 PM from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Baxter officiating. In accordance with Ms. Dodgen's wishes, her body will be cremated. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home Wednesday, September 12, from 10 AM until the funeral hour.
