Myrl Wicker "Wick" Stewart, Jr., age 62, of Emily Lane, Carrollton, Ga., passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2009. He was born October 29, 1946 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina the son of Fannie Marshall Stewart and the late Myrl Wicker Stewart, Sr. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Barbee Stewart. He was employed by Super Value as a regional meat product manager and was a member of Mt. Holly Church of God. Survivors include mother, Fannie Stewart; son, Kevin Scott (Stacy) Stewart of Oxford, Al., and daughter, Wendi Jeneen Stewart of Rome, Ga.; sister, Deborah Stewart Biddy of Concord, N.C.; brother, Randall Stewart of Kannapolis, N.C.; 2 granchildren, Cody & Ashley Stewart; great, grandchild, Zoey Stewart; also a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 6 PM until 9 PM at the funeral home. Graveside side services will be conducted Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 2 PM from Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC with Rev. Tom Whidden officiating.
