Mrs. Ora Martelli Parrish Lambert, 87 of Old Jacksonville Road, Buchanan passed away March 16, 2011. Mrs. Lambert was born on October 22, 1923 in Haralson County, Georgia the daughter of the late John Walt Parrish nad Minnie Vesti Ewing Parrish. A retired seamstress of The Arrow Company and member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Isom Lee Lambert, Sr.; son Kenny Lambert, Daughter, Minnie Carol McClure and a brother, Dewey Parrish. Survivors include her children, Marcia Gore of Buchanan, Betsy & Greg Sparks of Louisiana; Gail Wood of Carrollton and Isom Lee 'JR' & Sylvia Lambert of Buchanan; grandchildren, Terry Wayne Shadrix, Christopher Shadrix, Kevin Gore, Joey Dryden, Ricky Dryden, Ben Wood, Libby Wood, Gina Wood and Elizabeth L. Williams; fourteen grandchildren and a number of nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 18, 2011 between the hours 4:30 & 8 pm. Graveside Services will be conducted Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 2 pm from Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery with Reverend Buddy Gentry officiaating. Kevin Gore, Tim Williams, Nick FInley, David Summerville, John C. Anderson and Paul Kennedy will serve as pallbearers.
