Robert Columbus Free, Jr. of Waco passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Duluth, May 6, 1967, son of Elvira Laverne Messer Free and the late Robert Columbus Free, Sr. Mr. Free was a member of the Church of Christ and a self-employed carpenter. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ella Mae Cole. Survivors include his mother, Elvira Free of Waco; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Synthia and David Wade of Waco, Aleshia and Stephen Lusk of Heflin, AL; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Kim Mitchell of Waleska and Benjamin and Amanda Free of Winder. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. Services will be Thursday, October 26 at 2:00 PM from the Napoleon Church of Christ with Reverend Allan Daniel officiating. David Mitchell, Chris Flowers, Steve Lusk, Michael Yearta, David Wade and John Womack will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Napoleon Church of Christ Cemetery.
