Roger Dale Owen, age 63 of Carrollton, passed away March 12, 2015. He was born February 14, 1952 in Piedmont, Alabama to the late James Dwight Owen and Bertha Mae Bonner Owen. He retired as a self-employed mechanic. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Ilene Lawson. He is survived by his companion and friend for many years, Martha Bickers of Carrollton, daughter, Tash Dillard of Magnolia, Texas; son, Bobby Dale Owen; brother, Larry Owen; and step-brother, Tony Bonner. Memorial service will be conducted Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 1:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Mr. Ricky Mac Lawson officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. In keeping with the family's wishes, the body has been cremated.
