Stephen Vadovsky, Sr., 75, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024. He was born on July 15, 1949, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Michael Vadovsky and the late Helen Kozoleski Vadovsky.

Upon graduating high school, Stephen enlisted and served his country in the United States Navy. After serving 9 years in the military, Stephen chose to own and operate his own trucking company, Vadovsky Trucking. He was a hardworking man that truly loved providing for his family and his community. Those who knew him will always remember him as a loving husband, father, and grandfather whose presence will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, Stephen is preceded in death by a son, Blake Vadovsky; sister, Dorothy Vadovsky; brothers, Michael Vadovsky, George Vadovsky, Joseph Vadovsky, and Francis Vadovsky; and many other extended family members.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his spouse, Elizabeth Gocke; children, Stephen & Cassie Vadovsky, Jr., Joshua Vadovsky, Noah Vadovsky, and Brent Vadovsky; brothers, John Vadovsky & Bobby Vadovsky; and eight grandchildren.

In keeping with Stephen's wishes, his body will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
