Mr. T. Nathan Thomaston, age 64, of Armstrong Mill Rd., Franklin, GA., passed away Thursday, March 30, 2006. He was born January 23, 1942 in Heard County, GA., to the late Winnie Lenore Kendricks Thomaston and the late Johnny Paul Thomaston. Mr. Thomaston was a retired security officer having worked for Spartan and previously worked in the textile industry for Uniroyal and Printed Fabrics and he was also a Baptist by faith. Survivors include his wife, Christine East Thomaston of Franklin; his children, Jerry and Pamela Thomaston, Jimmy and Terri Thomaston all of Franklin and Mary Mayfield of Carrollton; a sister, Sarah Samples of Fayetteville, Ga.; a brother, Hudson Thomaston of Carrollton; five grandchildren, Jay Thomaston, Brandi Thomaston, Katie Thomaston, Justin Loyd and Johnathan Loyd; also other relatives and a host of friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 2, 2006 at 2 PM from Antioch Baptist Church in Heard County with Rev. Jason Berryhill and Rev. Tommy Rice officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Sweat, Anthony Kendrick, Jason Morrison, Jason Craven and Benny Lasseter. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
