Herbert Talmadge 'Tal' Wilson, age 86 of Bremen, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born in Haralson County, October 24, 1928, son of the late Vinson Manco Wilson and Ethie Williams Wilson. Mrs. Wilson was a retired employee of the Sewell Manufacturing Company, where he worked in maintenance. He was a U. S. Navy veteran, having served in World War II and a member of Cross Pointe Christian Church in Bremen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven sisters and six brothers. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Lois Elizabeth Camp Wilson of Bremen; daughter and son-in-law, Janice Wilson and Garry Robinson of Bremen; grandchildren, Angel and John Helms, Anniston, AL, Scott and Beth Robinson of Hoover, AL and a great grandson, Tyler 'Ty' Robinson of Hoover, AL. Services will be Sunday, March 8 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Minister Jerry Tipton officiating. Music will be furnished by Wayne Wheeler accompanied by Brenda Andrews. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
