Toney Michael 'Mike' Skinner of Waco, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011. He was born in Etowah County, Alabama, December 31, 1951, son of the late Luther Paul Skinner and Eula Mae Deering Skinner. Mr. Skinner was employed by the Ivey Construction Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Evans and brothers, Clifford Skinner and James Skinner. Survivors include six children, Tonya and Robert Tolbert of Waco, Tony Skinner and friend, Kayla Harper, Waco, Tracey Skinner, Waco, Tara and Matt Davis of Carrollton, Mary and Ken Allen, Waco, Tabatha and Patrick Stone of Fruithurst, Alabama; sisters, May Parker of Temple, Charlene Parker, Temple, Corene Bentley of Cleveland and nine grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, November 12 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Services will be Saturday, November 12 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Blackwelder officiating.
