Mr. Walter Richard Glore, Sr, 73 of Old Pleasant Hill Road, Waco passed away November 1, 2009. Mr. Glore was born on January 10, 1936 in Cobb County, Georgia the son of the late Charlie Clyde Glore and Pinky Lee Dickerson Glore. A retired electrician of IBEW 613 with over forty years of service and Veteran of The United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by daughters, Terri Phillips and Kimmy Lee Glore. Survivors include his wife, Mary Laverne Wilkie Glore of Waco; children, Regina & Jim Banta of Kennesaw, Walter Richard & Niki Glore, Jr of Griffin, Kimberly Harper of St. Simons, Tony Skinner of Waco, Tonya & Robert Tolbert of Carrollton, Tracey Skinner of Waco, Tara & Matthew Davis of Carrollton and Tabatha & Pat Stone of Waco; sisters and brothers in law, Barbara Ann & Wayne Huff of Waco, Beverly Rose & Roy Cardell of Blairsville and Molly & Allen Bayne of Douglasville; brothers and sisters in law, Michael & Elizabeth Glore of Mableton, Carlton & Dianne Glore of Ladson, SC and Dennis Glore of Bremen; fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 between the hours of 5 & 8 pm. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 11 am from The Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home in Bremen with Reverend Britt Madden, Jr. officiating. Lee Glore, Robert Glore, Daniel Reynolds, Wayne Huff, Mike Glore and Carlton Glore will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Newnan.
