Mr. William Travis Walker, age 72, of Mallard Dr., Carrollton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008. He was born August 3, 1936 in Cleburne County, Alabama the son of the late W.A. Walker and Flora Bell Treadwell Walker. Mr. Walker was a retired co-owner of Printed Fabrics and Methodist by faith. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Yvonne Johnson. Survivors include his wife, Vivian Phillips Walker to whom he was married on January 4, 1958; son and daughter in law, Travis & Becky Walker of Carrollton; sister and brother in law, Brenda & Kenneth Wilson of Carrollton; brother and sister in law, Jerry & Selena Walker of Louisiana; granddaughter and spouse, Amanda & Chris Elrod of Bowdon; aunt, Violet Robinson; a special niece, Donna Ragsdale; and also several other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 2 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Hubert Carroll officiating. Music will be provided by Harold McWhorter. Pallbearers will be Steve Adams, Billy Lindahl, Ritchie Farmer, Homer Hannah, Mitch Ragsdale, Ricky Morrow, Mike Herren and Tommy Thompson.
