Mrs. Zona Lee Clark, age 84, of Main St. Whitesburg, Ga., passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2007. She was born June 22, 1923 in Douglas County, Georgia to the late Edna Mae Kimble Pierce and Tobe Malone Pierce. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and a Christian by Faith. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burson Tommy Clark; a daughter, Kathy Richardson and two brothers, Wayne Pierce and Roosevelt Pierce. Survivors include her children, Jeanette Cook of Moreland, Diane Berry of Carrollton and Henry Clark of Whitesburg; a brother, Tiny Coleman; two sisters in law, Dorothy Pierce Thomaston of Forest Park and Anita Clark of Carrollton; four grand children, Steve Berry, Leslie Richards, Rod Clark and Veronica Richardson; also 7 great grand children. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 11 AM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Minister J.C. Cook officiating. Music will be provided by Jeanette Rogers. Pall bearers will be Richard Turner, T.C. Bailey, John Groce, Dwayne Crews, Russ Smith and Joel Richards. Interment will follow in Ephesus Christian Church Cemetery.
