Ms. Alice Fay Jiles, age 63, of Salem Church Road, Carrollton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008. She was born December 27, 1944, in Heflin, Alabama, to the late James Joseph Wheeler and Georgia Harper Wheeler. Ms. Jiles was a caregiver at Hope House. She had also worked at Richards Respite Home for 15 years and was a manager for five years. She was a veteran of the United States Army and she attended Christ Fellowship Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Lillie Ann Hemmings and brothers, Sherman Henry, Jack Henry, and France Henry. Survivors include her children Tony & Isabel Hope of Raleigh, NC, Maria & Kevin Jones and Phil Jiles of Carrollton; sisters, Mary Reeves and Beauty Payne both of Heflin, AL.; brothers, James Wheeler and Charles Henry, both of Carrollton; and 6 grandchildren, Isabella Grace Hope, Brianna Elizabeth Jones, Miles Zachery Jones, Isaac Spencer Jones, Nathanial Lewis Jones, and Douglas Grant Jiles. Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 14, 2008, at 4:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Pastor Marc Limbaugh officiating. Interment followed in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
